on january 2, the meeting of the tsinghua university open online course was held at the new tsinghua school experimental theater. the meeting summarized the work related to the 2019 open online courses in tsinghua university and announced a list of commendations, which included five awards: outstanding organization award, outstanding innovation award, outstanding mooc award, mooc international influence award and open online course platform support award. the school of public policy and management of tsinghua university won the 2019 outstanding innovation award of tsinghua university open online courses. vice president zheng li of tsinghua university presented awards to the winning schools and individuals. mu ling, assistant dean and director of academic office of the school of public policy and management received the tsinghua university online open course outstanding innovation award on behalf of sppm.

in june 2018, the school of public policy and management, tsinghua university developed and launched the public administration online certificate program, which is the first public administration education certificate program of online learning, and it is also one of the first online certificate programs released in tsinghua university. the program currently includes six courses, namely public crisis management, frontier of public management, ppp theory and practice, social research methods, public affairs ethics and xi jinping's thought of socialism with chinese characteristics in the new era, which are all taught by frontline teachers of school of public policy and management in tsinghua university to systematically teach learners the theory, knowledge and skills of modern public administration. the program is launched on the certificate channel of mooc platform of tsinghua university. learners can pay for a series of online courses, complete homework online, and obtain a certificate of joint accreditation from the school of public policy and management and online education office at the tsinghua university after passing the examination.
